I’ve been a freelance writer, journalist, and editor for more than 10 years. Perhaps you’ve seen me around. My work has been published by Romper, Cosmopolitan, Real Simple magazine, Yahoo Parents, and many more outlets. I’ve also served as a deputy editor for Scary Mommy, the senior parenting editor at CafeMom and, currently, as a contributing writer and editor at Care.com.

I’ve lived all over the country, but I currently reside in Portland, Oregon. When I’m not writing and editing for my day job, I’m hard at work restoring my 125-year-old house, creating epic works of fiction, or hanging out with my favorite people—my husband and kids. Words and stories are my lifeline, and I’m privileged to have so many opportunities to connect with others through stories of all kinds.
