I’m a writer, journalist, and editor with more than a decade of experience in digital media. Perhaps you’ve seen me around. My work has been published by Romper, Cosmopolitan, Scary Mommy, Real Simple, and many more outlets. I’ve also held the roles of deputy editor for Scary Mommy and senior parenting editor for CafeMom. Currently, I work as a freelance creator and contributing writer and editor for Care.com.

I live in Portland, Oregon, with my darling husband, our two awesome teenagers and our two perfect cats. When I’m not writing and editing for my day job, I’m hard at work restoring my 125-year-old house, creating epic works of fiction, or hanging out with my favorite people—my family. Words and stories are my lifeline, and I feel so lucky to have so many opportunities to connect with others through stories of all kinds.
